01 Oct 2021 Bayfront Promenade Is Slated to Become the First Development at Bayfront with 209 Units

Bayfront Development Partners, LLC (“BDP”), a joint venture of industry-leading, multi-family housing developers Pennrose LLC and Omni America LLC, plans to develop Bayfront Promenade, a six-story, mixed-income building consisting of approximately 209 units. This project will help form the foundation of Jersey City’s ambitious and visionary plan to create a vibrant, mixed-use community, and BDP recognizes its importance as the catalyst for the future redevelopment of the entire site.

In addition to creating 209 new apartments, 35% of which will be affordable to households earning up to 60% of Area Median Income, Bayfront Promenade will also include approximately 10,000 square feet of community facility space and a wide array of amenities such as an expansive outdoor terrace with grilling stations, a community lounge with a kitchen, a coworking lounge/media room, a fitness center and yoga room, a dog wash, and bike storage.

The project will incorporate multiple sustainable and green practices, and is anticipated to achieve Enterprise Green Communities and Energy Star certification while using LEED certifiable measures.
